OU NOC Operator

Coordination, set up, monitor, and support all of the company’s 24/7 global and domestic content distribution services for occasional Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup and monitoring of broadcasting systems on the basis of service requirements.
• Customer support – acts as the initial point of contact for all the company’s clients.
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues.
• Accountable for managing events and ensuring that they are resolved while maintaining a detailed record of the problems and methods used to solve them.
• Manage escalation process until resolution, including coordination with in-house engineers and third parties.
• Work on a basis of the Service, on a 24/7 basis, with high availability.

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/ADVANTAGES:

• Knowledge of English – a must.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office programs).
• Candidate has a preferably technical background from one of the following: RF, satellites, networks, electronics, video, and/or sound.
• Engineering studies will be considered an advantage.
• Technical or customer support experience will be considered an advantage.
