Director of Sales Africa

• Develop an annual sales plan in support of the organization’s strategy and drive its execution in Africa.
• Meet with key network clients, agents, and content providers to understand their challenges and position iKOMG’s solutions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients as well as local resellers.
• Perform solution presentations for customers and resellers.
• Position ideally based in Africa.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales and/or Business Development in the broadcast media industry.
• Experience in selling satellite services Nilesat/Arabsat/other territory satellite would be considered an advantage.
• A strong understanding and proven success in selling satellite broadcasting, playout management, cloud solutions, OTT platforms, fiber, IP delivery, disaster recovery plan, and EPG creation, would be a plus.
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Ability to work as a team leader, following iKOMG’s values, to lead the internal team to success and customer satisfaction.
• Travels to meet customers, when needed.
• Fluency in oral and written English and French is essential. Another language from the assigned territory would be a plus.
• Senior-level business relationships with tier 1 network service providers (cable, telcos), OTT providers, broadcasters, satellite operators, and content providers with the ability to quickly build new relationships would be considered an advantage.

University Degree in Business or Engineering would be a plus.
