The agreement also brings Vietnam Today to Freeview and Freely audiences through Channelbox
iKO Media Group (iKOMG) and Vietnam Today (Vietnam Television) have signed a new partnership to bring the Vietnam’s international television channel to audiences across the United Kingdom, marking a key step in Vietnam Today’s international expansion strategy.
Vietnam Today – Vietnam’s English-language international television channel, delivering authoritative information about Vietnam to global audiences, with core content spanning news and current affairs, in-depth analysis, economy and investment, culture and tourism, as well as contemporary stories about modern Vietnam – will officially launch in the UK on 1 May.
The channel will be distributed via Channelbox, a free OTT streaming platform, with additional reach across Freeview channel 271 and Freely channel 561, two of the UK’s leading free-to-air television platforms.
Under the agreement, iKOMG will serve as the end-to-end distribution partner, supporting Vietnam Today from technical onboarding through to platform delivery and audience growth, enabling a seamless entry into the UK market.
